Then He told them a parable. ‘Behold the fig tree, and all the trees.’
Luke 21:29
Trees have always been a good illustration. Jesus refers here specifically to a fig tree because there were many in that area, and because He had used them as an illustration of Israel. Israel and the nations in general will witness the events He prophesies of here in these verses.
Heavenly Father, Your faithfulness is amazing! Thank You for giving us Your Son! May we always faithfully serve in His church. Thank You for the good news that we have to share with everyone around us. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray and praise You, Amen.
