Read Isaiah 9:1-2, 6-7

(Isa. 9:1-2 NKJ) Nevertheless the gloom will not be upon her who is distressed,
As when at first He lightly esteemed The land of Zebulun and the land of
Naphtali, And afterward more heavily oppressed her, By the way of the sea,
beyond the Jordan, In Galilee of the Gentiles. 2 The people who walked in
darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of
death, Upon them a light has shined.

(Isa. 9:6-7 NKJ) For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the
government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful,
Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of
His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over
His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that
time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

The Light

(Isa. 10:17 NKJ) So the Light of Israel will be for a fire, And his Holy One for
a flame; It will burn and devour His thorns and his briers in one day.

(Isa. 49:6 NKJ) Indeed He says,`It is too small a thing that You should be My
Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of
Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My
salvation to the ends of the earth.'"

(Isa. 60:1-3 NKJ) Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the
LORD is risen upon you. 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And
deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will
be seen upon you. 3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the
brightness of your rising.

The Lord

(Ps. 2:1-12 NKJ) Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? 2
The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, 3 "Let us break Their bonds
in pieces And cast away Their cords from us." 4 He who sits in the heavens shall
laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. 5 Then He shall speak to them in
His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: 6 "Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion." 7 "I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me
,`You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. 8 Ask of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a
potter's vessel.'" 10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges
of the earth. 11 Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss
the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled
but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

(Ps. 110:1-7 NKJ) A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right
hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool." 2 The LORD shall send the rod of
Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! 3 Your people
shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from
the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth. 4 The LORD has sworn
And will not relent, "You are a priest forever According to the order of
Melchizedek." 5 The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the
day of His wrath. 6 He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places
with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries. 7 He shall drink
of the brook by the wayside; Therefore He shall lift up the head.

The Lamb

(Gen. 3:15 NKJ) And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between
your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."

(Gen. 3:21 NKJ) Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and
clothed them.

(Gen. 4:4 NKJ) Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat.
And the LORD respected Abel and his offering,

(Gen. 8:20 NKJ) Then Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean
animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

(Gen. 9:4 NKJ) "But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.

(Gen. 12:7-8 NKJ) Then the LORD appeared to Abram and said, "To your descendants
I will give this land." And there he built an altar to the LORD, who had
appeared to him. 8 And he moved from there to the mountain east of Bethel, and
he pitched his tent with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; there he built
an altar to the LORD and called on the name of the LORD.

(Gen. 22:8 NKJ) And Abraham said, "My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb
for a burnt offering." So the two of them went together.

(Gen. 22:12 NKJ) And He said, "Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything
to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son,
your only son, from Me."

The Lion

(Isa. 11:1-2 NKJ) There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a
Branch shall grow out of his roots. 2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon
Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

(Ps. 110:2 NKJ) 2 The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule
in the midst of Your enemies!

(Gen. 49:8-12 NKJ) "Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise; Your hand
shall be on the neck of your enemies; Your father's children shall bow down
before you. 9 Judah is a lion's whelp; From the prey, my son, you have gone up.
He bows down, he lies down as a lion; And as a lion, who shall rouse him? 10 The
scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until
Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people. 11 Binding his
donkey to the vine, And his donkey's colt to the choice vine, He washed his
garments in wine, And his clothes in the blood of grapes. 12 His eyes are darker
than wine, And his teeth whiter than milk.
